Dreamwidth, why are you so charming and well-designed. For serious. I keep coming here with the urge to post SOMETHING, ANYTHING, but no real idea of what. Why, Dreamwidth, why?

What might be nice, though, is the presence of small but active new comms. I found dw_community_promo just now, and joined a few that looked interesting.

Even a few LGBTQ ones, which is always a thing. You see, it's really nice talking to people you identify with, but then I usually find that I have nothing else in common with them, which just gets awkward and silly after a while. But we will see what happens.

(I'm sort of disappointed there doesn't seem to be anything related to sex positivity. I've been getting interested in that lately; I'm planning to write more about it later.)

I am pretty excited about stayintheroom, in any case. That looks awesome. Going to get my creative juices flowing. \o/

In my first year at uni, I went to one of the LGBT Association's weekly safe-space socials, and it was possibly the most awkward social situation I have ever been in. >_>

Sometimes you feel like talking about stuff like that, but most of the time it just doesn't matter that much, you know? For me, anyway. It's part of my life and identity, but not the biggest.

queer_rage is a great place, though.
